当会の紹介

「日本とアラブ諸国は実際の距離以上に遠いのではないだろうか。」

東京外国語大学で中東地域、アラビア語を専攻する私たちは、「アラブの宗教や文化への理解において、日本は世界と比べ、遅れをとっているのではないか」と日々感じている。

そこで当会は、日本人の知らない様々なアラブの姿を調査、研究し、また関係する様々な方に取材を行って、その情報を発信することを活動とする。そしてこの活動を通して、アラブを「遠いけれども近い地域」にすることを目標に掲げる。

'Isn't Arab countries far from Japan beyond the real distance?'

We at the Japan-Arab Society look forward to bringing Japan and the Arab world closer.

We, students majoring in Arabic in Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, always feel that Japan might fall behind other nations, such as in understanding the culture and religion of the Arab world.

Therefore, this study group will research and study various aspects of the Arabs that offer the information. The goal of this activity is to make the Arab 'a far but near area from Japan'.
